Pilar Rioja Performance: Lydia will be taking certain students from her 2nd and 4th period class on a field trip monday April 16th after 2nd period. They all know they are responsible for speaking with their teachers in regards to their abscence and missed work. For those who have 1st and 2nd period they also know they need to attend those classes as well.
Attendance: The three day week did not help our attendance, as we begin April at approximately 80%. Advisors, if your advisees were absent more than two days in a row, we need you to follow up and provide any information obtained to Belia in the main office. Our weekly attendance meeting will take place Monday at 10:30am.
Summer Opportunities Survey: Roy has prepared a survey of summer opportunities that will be filled out in Advisory this week. Advisors, please have all students fill out a survey, collect, and return to Roy. It is important for us to identify and recruit students for many of the programs we have this summer, including Summer of Sail and a new residential camp program at SUNY Maritime.
2nd Marking Period: There are only two weeks left in the 2nd marking period, which ends on 4/27. Teachers, please make sure your mygradebook.com accounts are up to date. Open School Night will be Wednesday, May 9, from 6-7:30pm.
Sports: All players on Bushwick Campus PSAL teams must provide teachers with a schedule of their games, and on game day, must provide a pass to leave at 2:15pm for travel to games. Marvin is the girls soccer coach and has sent around this information to our staff. We will make sure that baseball does the same.
