In the spirit of college awareness and preparation, Nicole would like to plan a series of activities for all students during the week of May 7th. This will be our official college week. The goal is to make this an annual event where students can learn more about college and everything it has to offer. Here is the proposed plan for this year.
Monday 5/7 - Represent Your Alma Mater Day - Teachers and staff will wear t-shirts, caps, etc representing the colleges they went to. Advisors across all grades will speak about their college experiences during advisory.
Tuesday 5/8 - SUNY Maritime Presentation during advisory for 9th graders
Wedenesday 5/9 - Skidmore College Presentation during advisory for 10th graders
Thursday 5/10 - Panel discussion with seniors and current college students for 11th graders during advisory
Friday 5/11 - Making it Count - College Presentation for seniors during advisory
