Earth Science Regents Practical Lab Exam will be taken by the ninth graders in the Lab beginning Monday, June 4. In order for set up to occur, beginning Thursday May 31, the classes that are held in the lab will meet in Room #306 on the third floor. Classes should meet at the Lab and travel to Room 306 together with their teacher.
Lettie G. Howard Overnights for 10th graders continue - June 1st and 2nd.
Saturday boatbuilding with Janette Medel: Meet at 9 AM in front of Bushwick to go to Harlem every Saturday. We are trying to get the boat finished in time for graduation!!
NWEA Interim assessment testing will focus primarily on the ninth grade. Sections 1 and 3 will take their tests 7th and 8th period on June 5 and 12, respectively. Moira is coordinating the testing schedule and use of the computer room.
Special Schedule June 6 and 8. In order to have a dress rehearsal for the Odyssey on June 8, tenth grade will have a special schedule on June 6 and June 8. Students will have their regents classes Global, Math, and Living Environment before being dismissed at 10:30 for the ferry to Governors Island on both days. Lily will send out details to teachers. All other classes will meet as regularly scheduled. We will have an early dismissal at 2:40 on June 8 for all those attending to make a 4pm Ferry for Harbor Arts Night. There will be 5:15 ferry as well.
Staff reminder: we need all hands on deck for all Fridays until the end of the year, given the Lettie Overnights.
Graduation: June 25 at 6pm on Pier 16 at South Street Seaport Museum. This promises to be one of the great nights in the history of our school. Please support all senior potential graduates as they work to finish all of their necessary requirements.
Summer School: All teachers who are interested in teaching summer school (Friday, July 20 - Friday, August 17) please email Nate and Mr. Dye (vdye@schools.nyc.gov) as soon as possible! Summer school will take place in the Bushwick Campus Annex 8:30-3:00 for four weeks. More information will be forthcoming for students soon.
