Estuaria: Thank you so much to Cheryl Balsamo for her persistent and tireless work to create our Estuaria and take care of our Turtles in rooms 410 and 416. The creation of the Aquarium Keepers Club has been a great addition to our school, and Cheryl has done this, as well substitute hundreds of classes, and be a great assistant Teacher for our Harbor Science class with Ann and Shane. Cheryl has accepted a position as a 7th grade science teacher at the Urban Assembly School of Arts and Letters in Fort Green, a great new Urban Assembly school. We wish her all the best. -Nate
Teaching Assistants: In addition to Cheryl, other teaching assistants have shown tremendous dedication and hard work in their classes. Ralph Perez has consistently demonstrated his patience and commitment in his work with in Des, Marybelle, Maya, and Lily's classes. English Teacher Beth Heuer has continually added to 10th grade English class, and ESL para Juan Ortiz has also assisted greatly in several classes. Thanks to all for their assistance in helping our students. -Nate
